Download the Latest Client Package

Click the download button and follow the installation instructions below to install the most recent version of the Bloomsburg Weather Viewer on your Windows computer (Note: if already you have an older version of the Weather Viewer installed, please input your information again in the space below and you will be redirected to the most recent version). In addition to the Weather Viewer client, the installer will also load VLC Media Player and Java JRE 7 on your computer if you do not already have them installed. These programs are required to run the client.

Once installed, the Weather Viewer client will allow you to access video and weather data files stored on the Weather Viewer server at Bloomsburg University. Please note that the client's performance will depend on the speed of your internet connection and your PC. It is recommended you have a computer with at least a dual-core processor, four gigabytes of RAM, and an Intel HD2000-equivalent graphics card.

In the future, we will release a server installation package for the Weather Viewer data collection system. By installing a local data collection server institutions will be able to collect and manage their own data, thereby greatly enhancing the speed of program on the institution's network.

In order to download the installer for the Weather Viewer client, we request that you provide us with some basic information so that we may contact you in the future regarding new releases and program updates. All data collected are completely confidential and will not be shared with anyone who is not involved with the development of the application. Once you submit your information, you will be sent a link to the email address you provide (please provide a valid email address). After you click the link, you will be redirected to a web page a download link. All fields are required.
